The Mini-Marathon held in partnership with MTN was well attended with more than 1000 children representing over 22 schools in Lagos participating in 1.2km, 3km and 5km distance races respectively. The event was supported by the Lagos State Sport Commission, Access Bank, Axa Mansard and Multichoice Nigeria.

Slum2School a non-profit initiative aimed at improving access to education for children who live in hard-to-reach slums across Nigeria will be the beneficiary of the proceeds from this event.
In attendance we expect over 2,000 participants for the races and a total of about 50 schools, also including over 500 adults and 300 volunteers.
Our target audience for this program are kids from the ages 5-15, the management and staff of St. Saviors School Ikoyi, AISEN Schools, private and public schools, school officers/directors, teachers, sports teachers and enthusiasts alike, parents, guardians and sports coaches. Also government officials, sports agencies and security agencies. This event serves to be an all-inclusive one, bringing people from all works of life together to create lasting and harmonious memories.
