How to retrieve lost Electricity token using Gtbank App

You can now retrieve your electricity token on the GTWorld or via internet banking

Have you ever pay electricity bill using your bank app and the electricity token was sent to in the designated mobile number?


There are 2 or 3 reasons 
1. If your Sms DND (do not disturb) service was deactivate it might effect the token no to deliver to your mobile phone πŸ˜’. 

2. If the service provider network is down

3. General network issue.

How to retrieve electricity token using GT BANK APP

1. Login to GTWorld app make sure the app is updated. 

2. At the home page slide to the left to see the request on the menu and select “Electricity Token Retrieval “

3. Enter the the meter number used to purchase electricity in GTWorld. And you are done.



Using Web Internet Banking
Login to Internet Banking from the Bank Website
Go to Electricity payment and select “Token Retrieval”

This service is available for payments made on GTBank platform to IKEDC and EKEDC

You can retrieve token for up to 5 most recent payments
