Who is eligible to participate in The Voice Africa season 1?
The Voice Africa Season 1 is open to individuals from selected African countries who are above 18 years old and have lived in their countries for 12 consecutive months prior to the date of registration.
What African countries can participate in The Voice Africa?
Talents from the following countries can participate in Nigeria, Niger, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Madagascar, Seychelles, Rep of Congo, Chad, Rwanda, DRC, Gabon and Uganda
How do I register for The Voice Africa Season 1?
a. Intending talents are to create an account via the official website and upload a one-minute video of themselves singing.
b. An active airtel number is required to register for The Voice Africa.
What happens after registration?
If your online registration is successful, you will receive a message confirming receipt of your application. It is important that you provide your Airtel mobile number and email address as we will use them to contact you. All applications will be processed and if shortlisted for the blind audition, you will receive an audition invitation with details. Please check your email/mobile phone, The Voice Africa social media platforms, and the website www.thevoice.africa regularly.

Registration begins on Wednesday 19th October and closes on Sunday 10th November. Other details will be made available via the website:www.thevoice.africa
Where will the auditions take place?
Intended talents are to send in their entries online. Shortlisted talents will be invited to a live audition, which will take place in each of the 14 countries. Dates to be announced.
I have been contacted by an outside company charging a fee to audition, what do I do?
DO NOT PAY THEM! These companies are in NO WAY affiliated with the casting auditions for 'The Voice.' There is no admittance fee for any of the open calls.
What items am I required to bring to the blind audition?
The invitation to the audition will include details of the items required.
Can I apply using my stage name?
Yes, you can. You also have to provide the name that is on your government-issued ID in your Country for proper identification.
Can I apply if I have a manager?
Yes. However, if you have a current record label deal you must be free to take up the prize. You will be asked to disclose the details of any talent contract on the Questionnaire (eg. Recording, Management, Publishing, Sponsorship or Merchandising deal) so we can ensure that it would not conflict with your participation in The Voice.
If I am registering as a duo or trio, should we register separately or together?
If you are auditioning as a duo or trio, you will have to register individually at first. After registration is completed, a member of your group will then sign in and add you and the other members to his/her profile as a band
Where would The Voice Africa be produced?
The Voice Africa will be filmed in Nigeria but will be streamed on FTA and paid channels of 14 African countries.
Do I need to travel?
In the event that you’re selected to participate in the live programme, you must be able to provide valid travel documents, including an international passport, on or before 15th December 2022.
What is the prize for the winner?
The overall winner will receive USD$100,000 and a recording contract. Each of the seven selected participants from each country will also be rewarded USD$5,000 and some Airtel goodies.
Is there one overall winner?
There will be seven participants selected from each participating country to go into the show, but there will be only one overall winner of The Voice Africa.
What language will the show be broadcast in?
The contestants will use either English or French in the show. It will be aired with French translations in; Niger,
