Hide some phone features for employee,children and wife (Amazing things about Blackberry)

Have you seen a blackberry phone that some of its features are been eliminated and you will be wondering how did those feature are been lost.?

Are you a father? Did you want your children not to have access to all the phone features you bought for them?.

Are you a manager in a company and you want to give mobile phone to your employee for business activities and hinders them to have access to all the features like browsers, restrict for messaging and call?.

Parental Controls are designed to give you more control over how a BlackBerry device can be used and contacted. You can turn off access to certain apps, features, and content. You can also restrict incoming phone calls and messages to people in the Contacts app. ‎

How to set up
  1. On your blackberry go to> settings  go to > security and privacy go to> parental control.
  2. Switch the parental control ON.
  3. Enter the personal password.(the password means no one can change how the phone work except you).
  4. Re-enter the password and enter security question if you like.
  5. Select the application and features you want to restrict from the user.
Important of setting up this parental control
  1. When call only is selected (it means that the user only receive call from saved contact.)
  2. When message only option is selected (it means that the user will only receive message from saved contact.
  3. When browser is selected the browser will automatically deleted until you de-select.
  4.  You can select As many ‎ as you like.

Parental Controls settings are protected with a password, making them difficult to change or turn off without your knowledge. You can set your device so that the Parental Controls password is required to add an email or social networking account, or to purchase an app from the BlackBerry World storefront.‎
