Terms

By taking part in this challenge you shall be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these ‘’Terms and Conditions’’, as may be amended or varied by Samsung Nigeria (The Organizer) from time to time without notice. The responsibility is on the entrants to acquaint themselves periodically with the rules/terms.

Samsung Home Training is open to all Nigerian residents in possession of a valid identity document (for claiming of reward).

By participating in this competition participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion. However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The competition runs from April 24, 2020 – May 1, 2020.  Enter the competition in just 2 steps:

Step 1- Create a video of you sweating it out at home while working out or learning a popular dance step with the help of a Samsung home appliance or mobile device

Step 2- Upload the video, tag Samsung Nigeria on the relevant social media platform and use the hashtag

SUBMISSION

Submission(s) are deemed valid only if the participant is following Samsung Nigeria on:

Once you enter the competition; approval of your entry is at the complete discretion of Samsung Nigeria. Only entries deemed acceptable will be valid for the competition.

Submission(s) must not contain obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory or inappropriate content, or be disparaging to Samsung Nigeria as determined at Samsung Nigeria’s sole discretion. Prohibited entries deemed unacceptable by the administration team will be rejected and disregarded.

Submission(s) should not contain any third-party materials, or otherwise violate or infringe (or possibly infringe) any copyright, trademark, logo, mark, design that identifies a brand (other than Samsung Nigeria).

Entries become the property of the Samsung Nigeria and will not be acknowledged or returned. By submitting an entry, you agree to allow Samsung Nigeria to use your entry for publicity purposes.

Entrants, by entering in the competition, accept to and give Samsung Nigeria consent to feature their images/ entries in future communication of Campaigns, including but not limited to press features, videos and photos and social media platforms.

Samsung Nigeria reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any part of an entry and Entrant (including an Entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the entry process.

Failure by Samsung Nigeria to enforce any of its rights during the competition or at any time does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

You’re only eligible to win once.

Winners are selected and announced after Samsung Nigeria has selected the most engaging yet creative videos.

PRIZES

Winners will be rewarded with shopping vouchers- worth 5,000 Naira.

Only valid and approved entries will be permitted as final entries .

RIGHT TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND CONTEST

If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned due to the infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organizer that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this competition, the Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this competition. If the Organizer elects to cancel or terminate this competition, the Organizer will not retain any rights to the entries.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering this competition, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, agencies and trusted third parties, and their employees, officers, directors and representatives from any claims, losses and/or damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in this competition (including but not limited to, any error in computing any transaction, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment), any competition related activities and the acceptance and/or use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This competition and the terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria to settle any such dispute or issues.

POST COMPETITION OBLIGATIONS

Entrants agree to co-operate with Samsung Nigeria in any post-event publicity where they may be required to appear on television or radio, in printed publications, or social media platforms for which no fee will be payable.

Samsung Nigeria will not divulge the database of entries received to any 3rd party except in litigation.

By participating in this competition, the Entrant agrees and permits Samsung Nigeria and/or its appointed agents to collect personal customer information in order to conduct the offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, agents, contractors, service providers, offer suppliers and as required, to Nigerian regulatory authorities. Entrant grant Samsung Nigeria the right to, for an indefinite period, use all information provided to Samsung Nigeria through this competition for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes.
