Rules that guide Nigeria opay aggregators


As a key partner of OPay it is important to keep in check with your agents transaction performance and businesses. You are also expected to continuously onboard and register new agents to the business. 

None of your agents should be left unattended to at any point in time. Here at OPay we tend to help everyone grow in their different areas of business. 

Below are the rules newly modified for different situations; 

1.Be aware that as an aggregator you are expected to consistently on-board agents and it is important that their use of the mobile app sums up to a volume of 1.5 million naira monthly, Failure to this; We will give you a one month notice before cancellation of your monthly commission settlement. 

2.If none of your agents has a POS terminal, your expected transaction volume is 1.5 million naira monthly. You will be notified for a deadline duration of 1 month to obtain at least 5 POS terminals for your active agents and have a transaction volume on each POS terminal of at least 1.5 million naira monthly. 

3.It is important to note that if an aggregator has less than 5 POS terminals registered, a notification mail will be sent giving you a 1 month notice to get at least 5 POS terminals and your agent’s transaction volumes should not be less than 1.5 million naira monthly on each POS terminal. 

4.Aggregators who have more than 5 POS active agents should bear in mind that if the transactions done on these terminals are less than 1.5 million naira consecutively for three months, a notification warning mail will be sent to both agent and aggregator and the POS terminal would retrieved after you have been notified.
